1. Recent Boudior Shots

As we’ve recently finished the new Boudoir studio at our Nottingham premises, we thought we’d show you some photos from the past few weeks since it’s completion.

  2. New studio!

We have had a second studio built in our Nottnigham premises, specifically designed for our new range of boudoir shoots. Above you can see the work being started.

  3. BBC Radio Nottingham

Something a little different for Stuart today as he was asked to do the Newspaper review on BBC Radio Nottingham’s breakfast show: Here is Stuart with the BBC’s Andy Whittaker.

  4. Black Swan

Photo Nottingham were approached by a fashion student and aspiring creative director, Robin, to produce his first professional portfolio. His radical designs for make-up and hair were beautiful realised by Zoe, Photo Nottingham’s senior make-up artist. In the Studio, the creative vision of photographers Charlie and Carly produced striking images of model Emma Dalby including these shots inspired by the recent blockbuster ‘Black Swan’.

The post production by in house digital artist, Natalia, enhanced the drama of the photos and resulted in these stunning monochrome and gold images. Truly a spectacular team effort.

  5. It’s time to celebrate some good news!

Photo Nottingham has just won the Click Group Photographer of the Year Award!

The Chesters, who live in Arnold, had their photo put forward by Stuart McIntyre from Photo Nottingham for the Click Group Family Photographer of the Year.

The family of five helped him beat off competition from thousands of entrants from across the country to be named photographer of the year and win £500 for themselves.

The imaginative award winning shot was taken using the studios signature box.

The family, mum Dawn, dad Dave and grown up children Nick, Ryan and Leah had individual and group shots taken within the box – climbing in, climbing out, sitting inside and even kissing.

The studio has just one box measuring 1.5 metres square which the family posed in.

Stuart then compiled the photo digitally from the individual shots to create a unique memento of their session.

Dawn said she’s thrilled with the pictures and delighted for Stuart.

“We had a lot of fun having the photos taken and really enjoyed the session with Stuart. We didn’t see the shot entered for the competition until after the shoot was over – we saw the others on the day – and were really impressed.

“I was surprised at what Stuart had been able to create from a few pics of us in boxes. It all looks very set up – but it wasn’t. These are just a collection of natural photos of me and my family having fun.

Stuart said: “I’m chuffed to bits with this award as it’s my first national title. I wanted to enter something different and a photo that would really stand out from the crowd. The one of the Chester’s was ideal.

  6. The Wedding of Matt & Sara

We were honoured to photograph the wedding of Matthew and Sara recently.

There lifelong passion is for VW camper  vans, and members of their club duly brought along a selection of vehicles to use for the pictures.  We love it when we get the opportunity to shoot something a little different from the norm, and this was the perfect example!

  7. Portfolio Day

Throughout the year we are always looking for opportunities to develop our portfolio.

This location shoot was great fun; the team were joined by Sofia Studencki who is an up and coming photographer from Sweden.  The model is Lydia Costello.  Here are some favourites along with some back stage pictures.

  9. An interesting shoot at the Galleries of Justice promoting their new wedding venue. Stuart had great fun shooting these gothic images!

  10. Returning to the studio, fabulously talented ballet dancer Sophie Basset came in for a portfolio update. We got some fantastic shots, always a pleasure working with her!
